Jennifer’s Story

Jennifer’s story begins in October 2010. She was looking to purchase her first home in Maple Grove, MN. That year, the market was just starting to recover from the economic recession. Nearly 40 percent of the inventory in 2010 was in a distressed financial condition. Jennifer realized early on in her home buying search that she didn’t want to do it alone. Another past satisfied client referred her to the Jarrod Peterson Real Estate Group.

Her wish was to buy a townhome in Maple Grove. She was in luck. Back in 2010, there were 146 townhomes on the market, and many were in her price range. Jennifer purchased one with the savvy negotiation assistance of Jarrod Peterson for a price of $156,200.

But her story doesn’t end there. We stayed in contact with Jennifer over the years. She referred friends and family to us for their home buying and selling needs. She was also invited to the frequent client parties Jarrod Peterson Real Estate Group holds each year. In December 2019, Jennifer received some tremendous news! A new job opportunity had opened out-of-state. She was thrilled about this new adventure but nervous about the sale of her townhome.

We met to review a comparative market analysis, which included the fact that, according to the National Association of Realtors, homeownership equity had NEVER been as high as it was at that time. Jennifer was relieved that ten years later, her investment in a townhome would yield her nearly $83,000.
