Be Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Initiative

Be Pink Breast Cancer

We were thrilled to be involved again this year with the Be Pink breast cancer awareness initiative during the month of October. Our amazing CEO, Jarrod Peterson, helped co-chair this tremendous month-long local community event. Over 300 community members attended the kick-off event at the Wayzata Country Club. We raised over $115,000 with more donations still coming in!

The local Be Pink initiative supports the Jane Brattain Breast Cancer Centers, and proceeds will benefit Park Nicollet’s Jane Brattain Breast Center Mammo a-go-go Community Outreach Program. This program provides no-fee mammograms, diagnostic services, and breast health education to women in need.

Jarrod Peterson has been involved in Be Pink for four years and was honored and excited to help lead the efforts this year. “I have many family members, friends, and real estate clients that have been impacted by breast cancer,” said Jarrod Peterson. “It is the least I can do to help support such a worthwhile organization that provides care and preventative screening for so many in need.”
