Justin received his B.S. in Exercise Science with a minor in Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. He’s a licensed realtor in the state of Minnesota and has a combined 20+ years of experience working one-on-one with clients on life changing goals. He started his real estate career out of a genuine passion for helping people reach their goals. Whether through his previous work in the health and wellness industry or now in real estate, guiding clients through meaningful milestones continues to be incredibly rewarding.

What’s your favorite part about being a realtor?

Real Estate is complex with the numerous legal components, contracts, and local/national regulations, and Justin enjoys being able to simplify that process for his clients. To see the excitement and relief from his clients when a sale or purchase is complete is extremely rewarding. He’s motivated by the trust clients place in him to help them through one of life’s biggest financial decisions.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned in your career?

Justin believes a strong business starts with a strong relationship built on trust, confidence, and open communication. With experience comes clarity, and he brings that by being honest, straightforward, and always keeping his clients’ best interests front and center. How do you like to spend your free time?

Justin enjoys spending time with his family and watching/coaching the many activities his children are involved with. He loves watching them interact with their teammates and overcome challenges along the way. When he gets time for himself, you’ll often find him on the ice playing hockey or unplugging on his annual Boundary Waters trip with close friends, a tradition he looks forward to every year.

What’s a hidden talent you have?

Justin was a collegiate pole vaulter at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, graduating in 2006, and still competes occasionally at local track and field competitions.

Who is someone you look up to and why?

Justin has always admired his parents. Their example of hard work, persistence, and unwavering support shaped him and his three siblings. He’s reminded of this and helps guide him today as he raises his own four children.

What’s a big lesson that your life has taught you?

“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” Justin surrounds himself with friends, mentors, and family members who support and challenge him to be successful in business and life. Failure is another great lesson. It forces you to make a decision: quit or find another way. This reminds Justin everyday that failure is a stepping stone to achieving success and keeps him focused on reaching the finish line.

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what would you spend it on?

Depending on the lottery winnings, Justin would help his immediate family in becoming debt free so they can pursue their passions without the burden of debt. The remaining winnings would be invested and donated to well-deserving organizations that help less fortunate individuals. He would continue to support his clients and help others buy and sell real estate because he loves real estate.
